Eskymos to much for Panthers

The Eskymos used 28 unanswered points, 21 of them coming in the second half, to end the Panthers season 42-14 Friday night. Over the course of the first half it was a back and fourth affair. The Eskymos struck first after forcing a fumble on the Panthers first drive. The Panthers responded and scored on there next two possessions to tie the game up at 14. However, that would be the last time the Panthers found the endzone. The Eskymos tacked on another score to lead 21-14 at half. The Panthers would only allow one score in the third to be down 28-14, but then the wheels fell off on the Panthers season. Another turnover, untimely penalties, and a stingy physical defense ended any possible chance of a comeback. With the Panthers shooting themselves in the foot, the Eskymos scored twice in the fourth to put the game out of reach for good. The Panthers finish the season (8-3) while the Eskymos (9-2) will move on to face Williamson (7-4) in Regional play.
