Panthers Improve to 7-2
The Alma Panthers downed the Big Rapids Cardinals 39-33 at Ferris State University to end there two game skid. However, the Panthers where hindered by penalties early and often as they racked up over 100 penalty yards for the game. The game was a dog fight all night with neither team backing down. When one team would score the other would come right back for a score of there own. However, after the Panthers where stuffed on a fourth down play late in the third all momentum turned for the Cardinals. The Cardinals where up by 8 and driving down deep into Panther Territory looking to go up by two scores. Then a high pass was picked off by Marcus Owens, and the Panthers where back in it. After that pick all of the momentum was on the Panther side the remainder of the game. The team carried a swagger about them, and you just knew that they would pull out the win to improve to 7-2 on the season.
