Can the hot streak continue?

The Panthers are off to a hot start to begin the season 3-0. The combination of a powerful play between quarterback, running back, and wide receiver is contributing to the success of the team.

Drew Humm, the quarterback of the Alma Panthers, had a great game against Chesaning last week. On offense he threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns. He also contributed to defense with eight tackles. The two touchdowns were thrown to wide receiver, Chase Albaugh. Chase finished with 4 receptions for 50 yards to go along with the two touchdowns. Running back Brec Alward, was also off to a busy night on the field. He rushed for 123 yards on 26 carries. He too added to the night with a rushing touchdown.

The Alma Panthers were able to hold off the Chesaning offense, which had over 400 total yards throughout the game. The final score was 27-26 with Alma taking the victory.

Week 4 match brings Bullock Creek (1-2) into town to play against the Alma Panthers (3-0). Should be an exciting matchup as the Panthers hope to continue their hot streak!
