Panthers host Flint Powers Catholic!

Your Alma Panthers finished the season with an incredible 7-2 record. Now it’s time to get down to official business - High School Playoffs!

This year, the Panthers will be hosting the Flint Powers Catholic Chargers. The Chargers finished with a 5-4 record. This will be the first time ever that the Panthers will play the Chargers.

The Panthers are placed in Division 4 bracket (Region 1, District 1), along with the Escanaba Eskymos (7-2) and Bay City John Glenn Bobcats (5-4).

The Panthers’ last trip to playoffs placed them in the District Finals where they lost to the Escanaba Eskymos 31 to 13.

The Panthers are hoping to change last year’s outcome. However, it will come down to how well their defense plays. While their offense is ready, their defense has struggled the past couple of weeks and needs to dig deep to find their inner strength.  One thing that’s for sure is that the Panthers won’t give up or stop fighting for the win!

Let’s start the playoffs off right and get that first Panther win!
